About
C12 Quantum Electronics develops quantum processors using ultra-pure carbon nanotubes as qubits, founded by twin brothers Matthieu and Pierre Desjardins as École Normale Supérieure spinoff.
2025: Achieved record-breaking 1.3 microsecond coherence times - exceeding silicon quantum dots by 100x and establishing new benchmark for solid-state systems. Five-qubit chip targeted for release by end of 2025 with expected >99% gate fidelities. Pathway to 50+ qubit systems by 2027-2030.
Partnered with CEA to develop next-gen multi-qubit chips at wafer scale. Received EU HiFiQC (High-Fidelity Quantum Computing) HORIZON grant.
Operates Quantum Fab in Paris - unique quantum processor production line with cleanroom. 45 employees (22 PhDs, 18 nationalities). Total funding: €29.3M from 360 Capital, Varsity Ventures, Verve Ventures, EIC Fund, Airbus Ventures, BNP Paribas.
