About

The Co-design Center for Quantum Advantage (C2QA) is a U.S. Department of Energy National Quantum Information Science Research Center led by Brookhaven National Laboratory. C2QA focuses on co-designing quantum algorithms and hardware to achieve quantum advantage.

November 2025: DOE renewed C2QA funding with $125 million over five years. The center develops superconducting and diamond-based quantum devices, quantum software, and algorithms for scientific applications.

C2QA brings together researchers from national labs including Brookhaven, universities including MIT and Yale, and industry partners to advance quantum computing capabilities.
