About
eleQtron is Germany's first quantum computer manufacturer, developing trapped-ion systems using proprietary MAGIC (MAgnetic Gradient Induced Coupling) technology for scalable ion qubit control with microwave instead of lasers.
2025 Developments: Awarded €21 million for EPIQ project (2024). Deployed QSea-I demonstrator in Hamburg (May 2024). HiQ pilot system with 30 qubits launched in 2024, with HiQ+ featuring 60 qubits targeted for 2026. Partnership with Forschungszentrum Jülich and Infineon for German quantum computing infrastructure. Founded by Prof. Dr. Christof Wunderlich, Dr. Michael Johanning, and Jan Henrik Leisse.
