Molecular Quantum Solutions (MQS) is a Copenhagen-based startup founded in 2019 by Mark Nicholas Jones, accelerating pharmaceutical and chemical industries by providing a quantum software platform for calculating thermodynamic properties of molecules. MQS raised €600,000 in pre-seed funding led by Scale Capital, with participation from Rockstart and Stokbro Invest in June 2023. The company's platform, Cebule, focuses on drug formulation rather than drug discovery, addressing the stage where many drugs actually fail. The MQS Dashboard offers a visual interface to search through quantum chemistry data of over 200 million molecules, with the Cebule Compute Engine, JupyterLab, and Kubeflow integrated to leverage high-performance CPUs, GPUs, and QPUs.
