About
Q-NEXT is a U.S. Department of Energy National Quantum Information Science Research Center led by Argonne National Laboratory. Q-NEXT focuses on quantum networking and interconnecting quantum technologies.
November 2025: DOE renewed Q-NEXT funding with $125 million over five years to continue building quantum interconnection capabilities. The center develops quantum repeaters, transducers, and networking technologies to connect quantum computers and sensors.
