About QESEM Platform
QESEM (Quantum Error Suppression and Error Mitigation) is Qedma’s middleware software platform addressing quantum computing challenges through hardware-agnostic and application-agnostic error mitigation. In September 2024, QESEM became available via IBM’s Qiskit Functions. The platform combines quantum error suppression, which reduces errors at hardware level, with quantum error mitigation, which eliminates impact of errors without requiring extra qubits. By reducing errors without massive qubit overhead associated with Quantum Error Correction (QEC), QESEM allows users to run quantum algorithms on circuits up to 1,000 times larger without losing accuracy compared to raw unmitigated execution. Application-agnostic, applying to any quantum circuit and observable. Demonstrated on QPUs based on cross-resonance and tunable-coupler superconducting qubits, as well as trapped ions, by leading quantum hardware manufacturers. Qedma raised $26 million in Series A funding.
2025 Developments: The company continues to enhance its quantum software platform and developer tools in 2025. Focus remains on improving algorithm efficiency and expanding use case applications. Active engagement with the quantum developer community drives product evolution.
