About Quanscient

Quanscient

Quanscient is a Tampere-based Finnish technology company founded in 2021 by Juha Riippi, Alexandre Halbach, Asser Lähdemäki, and Valtteri Lahtinen, building the world’s first Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) platform seamlessly integrating cloud-native multiphysics solvers, advanced cloud computing, and quantum integration. Quanscient secured €5.2 million in November 2024 led by Crowberry Capital and Speen Holding, with follow-on investments from Maki.vc and First Fellow, bringing total funding to €9.9 million. The company is the first in the world to run a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation with real quantum hardware. Quanscient’s platform provides unprecedented power for industrial product development through quantum algorithms. The investment supports pioneering quantum algorithm work including CFD simulations using quantum hardware, with the first quantum product pilot expected in 2025. Quanscient serves engineering simulation applications across aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
