The Quantum Science Center (QSC) is a U.S. Department of Energy National Quantum Information Science Research Center led by Oak Ridge National Laboratory. QSC focuses on developing quantum-accelerated high-performance computing capabilities.

November 2025: DOE renewed QSC funding with $125 million over five years to develop open-source software for quantum-classical workflows and advance quantum materials and algorithms.
