(NASDAQ: VECO) is a global leader in advanced semiconductor and compound semiconductor process equipment, with over 30 Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) systems installed worldwide for quantum technology development. The company's GEN20-Q MBE system supports research and production of multiple quantum computing techniques including superconductive materials, spintronics, and high-speed optical modulation. In December 2025, Veeco announced wins with Sparrow Quantum (Denmark) and Yeungnam University (South Korea) for their MBE systems. Sparrow Quantum selected Veeco's GENxcel R&D MBE for developing high-performance quantum dot single-photon emitters, while Yeungnam University will use GEN10 MBE technology for quantum dots and nanostructures research. Earlier in 2025, Quantum Foundry Copenhagen selected Veeco's GEN20-Q MBE systems for quantum computing applications. Veeco's precision thin-film deposition technology is a critical enabler of quantum innovation across superconducting, photonic, and spin-based qubit architectures.
