The company originated from the QIN Technology research project in 2016 and received seed funding from Wayra (Telefónica) and Manutara VC in 2019. GoQuantum develops quantum-based hardware including QRNG-integrated eSIM technology for secure communications. The company serves banking, smart cities, industrial telecommunications, and IoT/4G/5G security sectors. Led by CEO Raul Zuleta (PhD candidate, Politecnico di Milano) and CSO Jose M. Brito (PhD quantum communications), GoQuantum represents Latin America’s emerging quantum technology ecosystem.

SeQure Quantum is a Chilean quantum cybersecurity startup founded in 2019, incubated at Universidad de Concepción and spun off from the University of Concepción and University of Gdansk (Poland). The company specializes in quantum random number generation systems for device-independent self-testing certified random numbers, thwarting cyberattacks. SeQure Quantum developed the first quantum computer made in Chile and was named Startup of the Year 2023 by El Mercurio newspaper and the Swiss Embassy. The company has raised $128 million in funding and launched a Poland-based office in 2023 for European market relations. In 2024, SeQure Quantum partnered with Thales to boost technologies in the space market and is advancing medical cybersecurity with quantum technology in Chile. The company provides quantum cybersecurity solutions protecting healthcare, space, and enterprise sectors from quantum threats.
